Mike Francis

Bio

Mike Francis is entering his 21st year as a teacher and coach at Raceland. He has coached in various roles including defensive ends and offensive line as well as running the middle school program for eight years. Francis currently coaches the offensive line.

Coach Francis graduated from Encina High School in Sacramento, CA. Francis earned Bachelor’s Degrees in English and Communication Arts from Georgetown College (KY). He was a member of the 1991 team that won the N.A.I.A. National Championship and broke numerous college offensive records at that time. Coach Francis later earned two Master’s Degrees in Teaching and School Administration from Morehead State University.

Francis has also served as the Boys and Girls Tennis Coach for Raceland since 2018.
